About Georgette
A science-led heart for birth
I'm Georgette Khalil, and I believe every mother deserves to walk into her birth experience feeling informed, confident, and deeply supported.
My path to birth work is unconventional. A degree in Physics taught me to understand the body's incredible design. A Masters in Education showed me how to share that knowledge in ways that actually stick. And becoming a mother five times over gave me the lived experience that no textbook can teach.
As a certified Calmbirth educator and practising doula based in Strathfield, Sydney, I combine scientific understanding with genuine compassion. My goal is to create a culture where birth is embraced, not feared.
I chose my business name — Birthing Culture — because that's exactly what I want to do: help create a culture where birth is embraced, not feared. A culture where mothers feel strong. Where families feel prepared. Where the birth room feels like a sanctuary, not a battlefield.
